Franklin Named to Canadian National Team for Pan Am Games

There aren't many higher honors for an athlete than competing for your home country, and fortunately for WKU softball's Larissa Franklin, she will once again have that chance, as she was selected to the Canadian Women's National Team for the 2015 Pan American Games.

WKU softball head coach Amy Tudor announced the signings of National Letter of Intents of five players for the 2016 season. Joining the Lady Toppers is Cassidy Blackford (Marshalltown, Iowa), Bryce Holmgren (Roland, Iowa), Beka Engelhardt (Rockport, Ind.), Kelsey McGuffin (Elizabethtown, Ky.) and Hannah Mabrey (Phoenix, Ariz.).

Softball to Host Winter Clinics on Jan. 17

The WKU softball team will be hosting a pair of clinics on Jan. 17, 2015, with a morning hitting clinic and an afternoon catching clinic at the WKU Softball/Baseball Indoor Facility.
