BOWLING GREEN, Ky. - Hilltopper senior Brandon Beckham kept his hot streak going on Tuesday, shooting an even-par day in the final round of the WKU/Kenny Perry Invitational, to help the Hilltoppers to a second place finish in the event.
Led by senior Cameron Beal, the WKU men's golf team turned in a third place showing through 36 holes on Monday at the 2014 WKU/Kenny Perry Invitational, held at The Club at Olde Stone, shooting a 14-over 590 (293-297).
WKU will host the WKU/Kenny Perry Invitational on Monday and Tuesday at The Club at Oldestone, welcoming 11 collegiate teams from across the region to Bowling Green for the 54-hole event.
Hilltopper junior Brandon Beckham finished with a two-over 218 (68-76-74) and tallied a 10th place finish as the WKU men's golf team finished in 12th place on Tuesday at the Firestone Invitational, hosted by Akron.
After two rounds of play at the Firestone Invitational, the WKU men's golf team sits in 13th place, shooting a 28-over 604 (296-308) on the day. The event is hosted by Akron and is being held at the par-72, 7,125-yard Firestone Country Club's North Course.
