KICKOFF REMINDER: Kickoff for the game between WKU and Navy is now set for 1:00 p.m. CT on Saturday afternoon at Houchens Industries-L.T. Smith Stadium. The kick time is different from many printed materials as the game time was altered in accordance with the Sun Belt Conference's television agreements with ESPN.

1963 REUNION IS SATURDAY: Saturday's game with Navy marks the 50th anniversary reunion of the 1963 WKU Football squad. The team will be honored in a halftime ceremony. The only undefeated football team in school history (10-0-1 overall and 7-0-0 Ohio Valley Conference champions), the 1963 team capped off the season with a 27-0 victory over the Coast Guard Academy, coached by pro football great Otto Graham, in the top "small college" bowl game of the time -- the Tangerine Bowl in Orlando, Fla. (now known as the Capital One Bowl).

COACHING STAFF TO PARITIPATE IN COACH TO CURE MD CAMPAIGN THIS WEEKEND: For the sixth year in a row, college football coaches nationwide will join together in support of the Coach To Cure MD program, which will be held during games of Saturday, Sept. 28, 2013. The rapidly growing annual effort has raised more than a million dollars to battle Duchenne muscular dystrophy.

On Saturday, American Football Coaches Association (AFCA) members will wear a Coach To Cure MD logo patch on the sidelines and college football fans will be asked to donate to research projects supported by Parent Project Muscular Dystrophy (PPMD), the largest nonprofit organization in the U.S. focused entirely on Duchenne muscular dystrophy.

Football fans can donate to Duchenne muscular dystrophy research by either going online to www.CoachToCureMD.org or by texting the word CURE to 90999 (a $5 donation will automatically be added to your next phone bill).
