Nadine Laemmler knocked down her second school record in this meet while numerous swimmers put up season-best times.

As a Sophomore (2012-13): Groneck rounded out his second season at WKU with 10 top-five finishes, including a win in the 100 fly against Evansville (51.43). Groneck scored in three events at the Conference USA Men's Swimming and Diving Invitational, finishing fourth in the 100 fly at 48.59, sixth in the 200 breast (2:02.49) and ninth in the 100 breast (56.05). His times in the 100 fly and 100 breast were personal bests for the season while the 100 fly came in as the second best on the team in 2012-13. Groneck opened the season with a second-place time in the 200 breast (2:13.19) and third in the 100 breast (59.95) against Delta State. Groneck competed in four different individual events throughout the year and three different relay styles, including helping his 400 free relay team to a top time in the Hilltopper Invite.
As a Freshman (2011-12): In his debut season with the Hilltoppers, Tyler Groneck recorded 14 top-10 finsihes and scored in three events at the 2012 Sun Belt Conference Swimming and Diving Championships. Groneck's top finish at the league event was sixth place in the 100 butterfly. He swam a season-best time of 49.89 in the preliminaries of the event. Groneck also placed seventh in the 100 breast (55.97) and ninth in the 200 breast (2:02.73). His top finish on the season was runner-up in the 100 breaststroke against Fairmont State with a tie of 1:00.33. Groneck also placed sixth in the 200 breaststroke against Georgia Tech and Clemson and fifth in the same event vs. Kentucky. He was also named one of the team's Rookie of the Year.
High School: Four-year letterwinner at School High School in Taylor Mill, Ky....Named Second-team All-State and earned all-region honors...Was the school record holder in the 100 butterfly (51.01) and the 100 breaststroke (58.44)...At the Kentucky State Championships, he placed second in the 100 butterfly and fourth in the 100 breaststroke.
