Multiple WKU Athletic teams were active in the Bowling Green community in the early months of the 2012-13 academic year as a part of Hilltoppers With Heart, WKU Athletics' official community service program. Here are some of the highlights of the great things going with WKU Athletics in the community:

Soccer

WKU Soccer recently adopted Ellie as part of the team family. Complete details are available in the recap of the recent adoption ceremony. The event was held in conjunction with the Friends of Jaclyn program.

WKU Soccer participated in the TOPSoccer program on Oct. 15, 2012 by holding a clinic for area youth who are mentally or physically disabled. Complete details are included in a recap of the event, including an extensive photo gallery.

WKU Softball players were recently out on campus encoraging individuals to register to vote as well as holding clinics for area youth. Details are included in a complete recap of the events.

Men's Basketball

Members of the men's basketball team visited "Hilltopper Day" at Briarwood Elementary on September 15th and participated in a Habitat Humanity Adoption Marathon in early October.
