Since 1994, the Corvette raffle has generated over $1.4 million to benefit scholarship funding for Western Kentucky University student-athletes. Each year, over 14,000 tickets are sold, with this year’s winner receiving either a brand new 2006 red Corvette or $30,000 in cash.
The grand prize drawing will be held at halftime of the Hilltoppers’ final regular season home football game on Saturday, Nov. 18 at L.T. Smith Stadium/Jimmy Feix Field against Austin Peay. Angela Comer of Bowling Green, Ky., won last year’s event by purchasing her ticket at the Party 1 Superstore.
Tickets can be purchased for $10 each on-line at www.wkusports.com, in person at the HAF office on the first level of E.A. Diddle Arena or by calling (270) 745-5321.
