Since 1994, the Corvette raffle has generated over $1.4 million to benefit scholarship funding for Western Kentucky University student-athletes. Each year, over 14,000 tickets are sold, with this year’s winner receiving either a brand new 2005 red Corvette or $30,000 in cash. The grand prize drawing will be held at halftime of the Hilltoppers’ final regular season home football game on Saturday, Nov. 5 at L.T. Smith Stadium/Jimmy Feix Field against Northern Iowa. Micky Strader, of Greenville, Ky., won last year’s event.
