Parkway Central High School: Three-year varsity baseball starter at Parkway Central High School… Was named to the all-conference team each year… Named to the Missouri All-State Second Team as a senior in 2009, hitting .432 with seven home runs, 33 RBI, 12 doubles and 24 runs scored… Made 10 relief appearances on the mound as a senior, earning three saves and posting a 1.20 ERA… Along with fellow Hilltopper Ryan Huck, was a member of the St. Louis Pirates summer team that finished the season as the 8th-ranked 18U team in the country.
