On The Hill: Enters second season as the starting placekicker for WKU following spring practice...Also listed as the back-up punter...Was a perfect 2-for-2 in PAT's for the Red team in the annual spring game...Also served as the punter for the Red team, punting four times, averaging 40 yards per punt...Named to Phil Steele's Preseason All-Sun Belt Conference Third Team as a kicker.
2009: Took over as the full-time placekicker for WKU in sophomore campaign, connecting on 14-of-19 field goals, ranking sixth all-time in WKU football history for field goals made in a season...Led WKU in scoring, notching 67 points on the year, including 25 extra-points...Also kicked off 37 times, totaling 2,191 yards, good for 59.2 yards per kick...Connected on both a 40-yard and a 31-yard field goal in the home opener against South Florida...Converted a 37-yard field goal and was a perfect 3-for-3 on extra-point attempts in week seven at Middle Tennessee...Was perfect on seven extra-point attempts, while totaling 476 yards on eight kickoffs in week eight at North Texas...Connected on two field goals, a 43-yard field goal and a 29-yard field goal in week nine against Troy...Tied for second on the all-time WKU list with four field goals in a game against Louisiana-Monroe, with four over 40 yards...Made three field goals the following week at Florida Atlantic, including a career-high 47-yard field goal...Converted on a pair of 34-yard field goals in the season finale against Arkansas State.

Made the last 69 extra-point attempts of his career, including going 46-of-46 as a senior ... Opened the scoring in the 2007 Kentucky-Tennessee All-Star Game with a 34-yard field goal in the first period, later hitting all five extra-point attempts in the team’s 38-24 victory ... A two-time all-state selection and was named all-SKY Conference his final three years ... Also earned all-state honors in soccer, and was named the Most Valuable Player of the state championship match after helping the Purples claim the state title ... Lettered for three years in soccer and two in basketball ... Named all-region as a senior and all-district his final two years in soccer ... Father, Joe, ran cross country and track on the Hill and was a member of the school’s 1974 cross country team that was second in the nation ... Mother, Katy, was a tennis player and is a member of the WKU Athletic Hall of Fame ... Older brother Chris played soccer at WKU and is currently a women’s soccer assistant coach, and sister Kelly was a member of the school’s inaugural women’s soccer team ... Uncle, Jim, lettered in football for the Hilltoppers in 1976 and later was on the WKU coaching staff.
