On The Hill: Making the switch from defensive back to running back in the fall.
2009: Played in seven games in sophomore campaign, with three starts in the defensive backfield...Broke up two passes and notched 15 total tackles on the year...Made an impact in first career start in a home contest against Troy, finishing the game ranking second on the team with eight tackles and two pass break-ups...Started for a second straight week against Louisiana-Monroe, collecting four tackles as a defensive back.
2008: Saw action in seven games, including wins over Eastern Kentucky and Murray State...Posted one tackle in a win over Murray State.
2007: A redshirt.
HS/Misc: Started and lettered his final three years at Bowling Green HS, helping lead the Purples to the 3A state championship game his last two seasons ... Ended his career as the school’s all-time leader with 3,652 yards rushing and 454 points ... Recorded six stops (four unassisted) as a defensive back in the Kentucky-Tennessee All-Star Game ... Twice named all-state and all-district ... Rushed for 1,208 yards and 16 touchdowns as a senior as BGHS finished 13-2 ... Set Purple season records with 1,572 yards rushing and 206 points his junior season, helping the team to a 13-2 mark ... In his first year on the varsity, BGHS went undefeated in the regular season en route to an 11-1 record ... Also earned four letters in track and one in basketball.
