BOWLING GREEN, Ky. -- The WKU men's basketball program ranked 30th in a listing of the nation's top 50 men's basketball programs in the last half-century, according to a formula devised by the ESPN Stats and Information Department.

Using a scoring system that considered conference championships, conference tournament titles, winning percentage, NCAA Tournament appearances and wins and All-Americans, ESPN listed the nation's best programs over the last 50 years.

WKU ended up 30th in the rankings, thanks in part to making the Final Four, four other Sweet 16s, winning 18 regular-season and 16 tournament championships and having two consensus All-Americans in the last 50 years.
