WKU and Louisville begin a new four-year series with the game. The Bluegrass State rivals have played in each of the last four seasons, and WKU leads the all-time series 39-36. Louisville finished last season with a 30-10 record and advanced to the Final Four, dispatching Davidson, New Mexico, Michigan State and Florida before losing to Kentucky in the national semifinals.
The last time WKU and Louisville played in Nashville, the Hilltoppers upset the third-ranked Cardinals, 68-54, on November 30, 2008.
The game wraps up a week of three games away from home against teams that won games in the 2012 NCAA Tournament and had a combined record of 90-19 a season ago.
