BOWLING GREEN, Ky. — The WKU soccer team announced on Thursday its 2012 summer camp dates and times. The Hilltopper Soccer Academy will host four camps this summer for boys and girls, including a Girl's Team Camp (June 17-21), Girl's Individual and Goalkeeper Camp (June 21-23), Girl's Elite Individual and Goalkeeper Camp (July 6-8) and a Half-Day Camp (July 16-20) for boys and girls.

The Girls' Team Camp is for players ages 12-18. The camp is designed to improve both the players' individual skill levels and their awareness of team concepts.  Players can attend as part of a team or come as independents.

The Girls' Individual and Goalkeeper Camp, as well as Elite Individual and Goalkeeper Camp, are great camps for aspiring players to improve their overall soccer techniques. These camps have some of the best player-to-staff ratios in the country and provide plenty of personal attention for each camper.  The Elite session typically consists of older players with club and Olympic Development Program experience and offers a more advanced and competitive environment.  Both camps are open to all participants.

The Half-Day Camp will run from 8:30 AM to 11:30 AM daily.  The camp is designed for boys and girls ages 6-12 of all skill levels and will introduce campers to the fundamentals of the game in an exciting and educational environment.  Campers will work with WKU players and staff and will be divided into appropriate groups based on age and skill level.

The deadline for the early registration discount is Tuesday, May 15.  Sibling and multi-camp discounts may also apply.  All camp information including online registration can be found on the camp website at www.wkusoccercamps.com.  Please contact coach Chris Tinius at 270-745-4952 or chris.tinius@wku.ed with additional questions.
