As a Senior (2011-12): Adam Pendry capped his Hilltopper career with a senior-season that feature 16 top-10 finishes and scoring in three events at the 2012 Sun Belt Conference Swimming and Diving Championships. Pendry took sixth in the 1,650 freestyle with a season-best time of 15:56.39, his best performance of the meet. He also place seventh in both the 500 freestyle (4:33.61) and 200 butterfly events (1:51.93). Both of his best times in those events came during the preliminary heats. He had one individual race win on the season, taking the top spot in the 200 butterfly against Fairmont State with a time of 1:58.07. Pendry also finished runner-up in the 1,000 free vs. the University of the Cumberlands and in the 1,650 freestyle at the Hilltopper Invitational. He also turned in a pair of top-10 finishes in meets with Kentucky and Georgia Tech, Clemson.

As a Junior (2010-11): In his third season with the Hilltoppers, Pendry tallied 12 top-10 finishes among several freestyle and butterfly events. Pendry also scored in three events at the Sun Belt Conference Championships, finishing in the top 10 in each. He finished sixth in the 1,650 free (15.57.61), sixth in the 200 fly and ninth in the 500 free (4:33.85). His times in the 500 and 1,650 free ranked among the top five on the team. Pendry won a pair of events during the season, capturing the top spot in the 1,000 free against Evansville, and placing first in the 1,650 free at the Hilltopper Invitational. He also tallied a pair of top-10 finishes against South Carolina.

As a Sophomore (2009-10): Pendry's second season at WKU included nine top-10 finishes, including one in the 200 fly at the 2010 SBC Championships. He finished ninth with a time of 1:52.96. Pendry also placed 11th in the 1,650 free, touching in at 16:05.68. His best performance in the regular season was a third-place finish in the 200 fly against the University of the Cumberlands, stopping the clock at 1:56.72.

As a Freshman (2008-09): Took home second in the 1000 Free in the Georgia Tech Meet (9:37.65) and in the 500 Free (4:39.54) ... finished fourth in the 200 Fly at the Oakland Quad Meet with a time of 1:55.17 ... posted a time of 1:56.32 to place fourth in the 200 Fly against New Orleans and Cumberland ... finished third in the 200 Fly against Evansville (1:55.69) ... also placed third in the 200 Fly against Southern Illinois (1:54.68) and fifth in the 500 Free (4:45.14).

High School: Coached by Kevin Thorburn and swam for ESwim ... was home schooled ... was a Canadian Olympic Trials finalist in the 200 Fly.

Personal: Born April 16, 2989 in Barrie, Ontario Canada ... parents are Steve and Lin Pendry ... a math major.
