BOWLING GREEN, Ky. — The Western Kentucky University football team will play in its first bowl game since joining the Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS), accepting a bid to play in the Little Caesars Bowl in Detroit, Mich., on Wednesday, December 26 at Ford Field. In light of WKU's first FBS bowl bid, WKU Athletics is offering ticket and travel packages for WKU fans and students, including free tickets to all WKU students, the athletic department announced on Sunday.

All WKU students will receive one free ticket to the bowl game with a valid WKU student ID, and can also sign up for a travel package for one payment of $50. The package includes a free game ticket, free bus travel to Detroit on December 26, free one-night stay in a hotel and bus travel back to Bowling Green on December 27 in time for the WKU men's basketball game against FIU that evening. Students will also receive a free Little Caesars Bowl commemorative ticket.

WKU students can visit the WKU Ticket Office in E.A. Diddle Arena to sign up for the travel package. Those wishing to only take advantage of the free ticket can pick it up the day of the game at Ford Field with a valid WKU ID. 

WKU is also offering intriguing travel packages and discounted bowl game tickets for all Hilltopper fans. Fans that purchase tickets through WKU will get discounted ticket prices that include $50 VIP seats and $40 reserved seats at Ford Field, which includes a free commemorative bowl game ticket with every ticket purchase.

Fans can also take advantage of the travel package, which includes a game ticket, bus travel to Detroit on December 26, one-night stay in a hotel and bus travel back to Bowling Green on December 27 for $150 for a double occupancy room.

The Little Caesars Bowl will kick off at 6:30 PM (CT) on Wednesday, December 26 at Ford Field in Detroit. The game will be televised nationally on ESPN.

STUDENT TICKETS:
All WKU students will be granted one FREE ticket to the game with a valid WKU ID.

STUDENT TRAVEL PACKAGE ($50)
