BOWLING GREEN, Ky. — With football season right around the corner, it's a perfect time to gear up for the 2012 season by ordering your very own official WKU football T-shirt. The shirt, featuring WKU head coach Willie Taggart with the words "We Have the Will on the Hill," is now available at the WKU Store at the campus location in Garrett Hall, and the Nashville Road location in Bowling Green. 

The shirt is available for just $9.99, and will be sold at both Family Fun Day on Saturday, August 25, and at the first Willie Taggart Radio Show on Monday, August 27 at Toot's Restaurant in Bowling Green.

The low price of $9.99 is made possible by generous scholarships from WKU Distance Learning, WKU Continuing and Professional Development and Super Home Surplus, with $1 of every shirt sale going to the Touchdown Club at WKU.

The official shirt of the 2012 WKU football season is encouraged to be worn at all WKU football games, with the exception of the season opener against Austin Peay on September 1. That game will be a White Out game, with the first 4,000 fans receiving a free "Live United" white shirt.

The Hilltoppers kick off the 2012 season on September 1 at 6:00 PM at Houchens Industries-L.T. Smith Stadium. The day prior to kickoff, August 31, will serve as College Colors Day, as fans are encouraged to wear the WKU colors in anticipation for the 2012 season.
