BOWLING GREEN, Ky. — The WKU women's tennis team will take on fifth-seeded ULM in the first round of the 2012 Sun Belt Conference Tennis Championship in Denton, Texas, the league announced on Tuesday.
The Lady Toppers and the Warhawks will get underway at 11:30 AM on Thursday from the Univeristy of North Texas, with the winner advancing to take on fourth-seeded FIU in the quarterfinal round on Friday.
The Lady Toppers recently secured their fourth winning season in the last five years, while also reaching the 10-win plateau for the third time in the last five years. WKU rattled off six wins and one tie in its final nine matches of the season, with one of the two losses coming to conference foe Middle Tennessee.
