RICHMOND, Ky. — WKU wrapped up three rounds at Eastern Kentucky with a 322 on Saturday, finishing 10th in the 13-team field at the EKU Lady Colonel Classic.

The Lady Toppers shot a 969 for the tournament and finished 20 strokes behind ninth-place Austin Peay. WKU bettered Eastern Kentucky's white team by four shots. Akron won the tournament crown with a 914 over three rounds.

Kate Larimore, competing as an individual, was WKU's top finisher with a 236. April Butler was tied for 33rd with a 239, and Kristen Wilkinson shot a 240 to finish tied for 37th. Kelsey Burrell carded a 76 on Saturday to end up tied for 42nd by recording a 242 for the tournament, and Danielle Baiunco, also competing as an individual, was tied for 50th with a 248.

Dawn Wientjes shot a 256 and checked in at 66th, and Amy O'Connell withdrew after a second-round 86.

WKU now turns its attention to the Sun Belt Conference Championships, held April 16-18 in Muscle Shoals, Ala.
