CITRUS SPRINGS, Fla. -- Mother nature was the storyline on day one of the EKU El Diablo Intercollegiate as rain and thunderstorms forced the cancellation of Thursday's scheduled 36 holes. WKU is one of 15 teams at the two-day event hosted by Eastern Kentucky University in Citrus Springs, Fla.
If the weather improves, the teams will conclude the event with one 18-hole round on Friday beginning at 8:00 AM ET.
The 54-hole event is being contested at the 5,902-yard, par 72 El Diablo Golf and Country Club. The participating teams include: Austin Peay, Barry, Belmont, Eastern Kentucky, IPFW, IUPUI, Lehigh, Murray State, Old Dominion, Southern Illinois, SIU Edwardsville, St. John's, Tennessee Tech, USC Upstate, and WKU.
