2010 (Redshirt Sophomore): Emerged as one of the conference's best closers in 2010 with a team-high nine saves, second in the conference, and struck out 63 in 49-2/3 innings pitched...30 of his 63 strikeouts were looking...Five of his nine saves came against conference opponents...Held opposing hitters to a .249 batting average, including limiting left-handed batters to a .190 clip and all batters to .121 average with two outs... Compiled a 2.72 ERA with a 3-4 record...In his team-high 33 appearances, allowed 15 earned runs on 46 hits while issuing 20 walks...He notched three two-inning saves in a span of three games from March 27 to April 2...Recorded two wins and a save in a five-game span from March 9 to 14...Pitched 4-2/3 innings in relief against Florida Atlantic on April 17, allowed one earned run with a season-high six strikeouts...Made his lone start of the season in the Sun Belt Conference Tournament against FAU...Allowed two earned runs in 4-1/3 innings with three strikeouts...Named to the 2010 QTI Baylor Classic All-Tournament team
2009 (Sophomore): Redshirted the 2009 season after suffering an injury in fall practice.
2008 (Freshman): Emerged as both an important starter as well as closer for the Toppers... Tied for first on the staff in starts with 28, posting a 4.99 ERA with a 3-5 record... His 61.1 innings of work were fifth most on the team while he finished tied for fourth in wins and led the Toppers in saves with four... Fanning 63 batters, an average of 9.25 per 9.0 innings, third on WKU’s staff... Holding opponents to a .274 batting average against, ranking second among pitchers with at least 35.0 innings of work... Four saves came against South Alabama, Arkansas State, Louisiana-Lafayette, and New Orleans... Three wins were against Youngstown State, Middle Tennessee, and ULM... After a tough start, won three of his last four decisions... Struck out a career-high seven against both ULM on March 8 and versus rival Middle Tennessee on May 16... Fanned six while not allowing a run on just one hit in 4.0 innings of relief as WKU knocked off Louisiana-Lafayette on May 11.
