2011 (Junior): Saw action in all 57 of WKU's games in 2011 and made all 57 starts at second base...Started off the season strong, recording a hit and an RBI in each of his first six games with the Hilltoppers...Finished the season with 17 multi-hit games, tied for fifth best on the team...Added nine multi-RBIs games...Hit .272 on the year with nine doubles, three triples and three home runs...His average improved to .281 in league games...Drove in 33 runs...Was hit by a pitch a league-high 19 times and drew 27 walks to combine for a .396 on-base percentage...Reached base in the final 48 games of the season...Led the team with 13 sacrifice bunts...Was 4-of-6 in stolen base attempts...Went 3-for-4 with four runs, two RBIs and a home run in 11-3 win over Kansas State on February 25...Set a season and career high with three RBIs against Ole Miss (March 9)...In series finale vs. MTSU at home, went 3-for-4 with three RBIs and two doubles...His one-out, bases loaded single in the bottom of the 13th against Arkansas State lifted WKU to a 3-2 win on April 15...Went 2-for-3 with two runs and two RBIs in WKU's 8-5 win over ULM on May 1, scoring the go-ahead run...His two-out, two-run single in the bottom of the sixth broke a 3-3 tie and led the Hilltoppers to a 5-4 win over FAU on May 8...His RBI single in the 12th set the stage for WKU's come-from behind win over FAU in the Sun Belt Conference baseball tournament.
Iowa Western CC: Named the Easton NJCAA Division I Baseball Defensive Player of the Year...As a sophomore, made just three errors and posted a .980 fielding percentage...Was named both the NJCAA Division I Tournament MVP and Oustanding Defensive Player of the Tournament as he helped the Reivers to the national championship...During the 2010 NJCAA World Series, Hartle hit .400 (10-for-25) and led all players in the tournament with 21 total bases...He also was tied for the tournament lead in runs scored (10) and home runs (3), and all of his home runs were of the leadoff variety
