As a Junior (2011-12): Luke Musser continued to be a critical part of the Hilltopper swimming team in his junior season that saw him win the 200 breaststroke at the 2012 Sun Belt Conference Swimming and Diving Championships and be named a CollegeSwimming.com Mid-Major Honorable Mention All-American for the second straight season. Musser took first in the 200 breast with a school-record and NCAA "B" cut time of 1:59.54. He also finished runner-up in the 100 breast with a second "B" cut time of 54.55. Musser added a sixth-place finish in the 200 individual medley, touching in at 1:51.18. During the regular season, he totaled 10 top-2 finishes and never finished outside the top six. He won six individual races, all between the 100- and 200-breaststroke events. Musser swept the both events against Southern Illinois and won the 100 breast against FAU, IUPUI and Nova Southeastern. He won the 200 breaststroke against Kentucky. Musser again swept the breaststroke events against Georgia Tech and Clemson and also placed sixth in the 200 IM. He was named the Sun Belt Conference Male Swimmer of the Week on November 8.

As a Sophomore (2010-11): In only his second season with the Hilltopper, Musser had a breakout season that included winning the 100 breaststroke event at the Sun Belt Conference Championships. Musser claimed the win in a school-record time of 54.84. The time also represented an NCAA provisional qualifying time, leading Musser to earn Mid-Major Honorable Mention All-America honors from CollegeSwimming.com at the end of the year. Also at the SBC meet, he finished sixth in the 200 breast (2:01.96) and ninth in the 200 IM (1:51.62). Musser was also a member of the 200- and 400-medley relay teams that set school records. He tallied eight event wins on the season and never finished outside the top 10 in the breaststroke and individual medley events. He was critical in meets against South Carolina and Georgia Tech and Florida Atlantic, claiming a pair of top-three finishes in both events. Musser finished the year with a total of 12 top-three finishes.

As a Freshman (2009-10): In his first season at WKU, Musser led the Hilltoppers in the 100 breast with a time of 55.70 and the 200 breast with a mark of 2:01.83. Both times came at the 2010 SBC Championships where he was runner-up in the 100 breast and placed fourth in the 200 breast. Musser also placed 12th in the 200 IM, touching in at 1:52.19. On the year, he recorded 11 top-2 finishes with three wins in the 100 breast and five wins in the 200 breast.

High School: Competed for the Kansas City Blazers ... holds the state record in the 100 Breast ... named an All-American in the 100 Breast and the 200 IM.

Personal: Son of Philip and Cathy Musser ... born October 10, 1990 in Kansas ... majoring in electrical engineering.
