As a Freshman (2008-09): Won the 100 Breast and 200 Breast at the Oakland Quad Meet (1:05.44) and (2:20.65) ... also won the 200 Breast at the Georgia Tech Meet (2:20.18) ... finished first in the 100 and 200 Breast against Southern Illinois (1:06.59 and 2:21.26) ... also picked up the victory in the 200 Breast against New Orleans and Cumberland (2:21.16) ... finished second in the 100 Breast at the Georgia Tech Meet (1:05.39) ... finished second in the 200 Breast at the SBC Championships (2:18.16) and third in the 100 Breast (1:04.39).
